Just as our eyesight deteriorates as we get older, our hearing has its own natural ageing process.
The majority of people experience some form of hearing loss and because this is often very gradual due to the ageing process, many are unaware of the problem until they begin to experience difficulties in everyday communication. Some of the other reasons people may have hearing loss is a result of damage to the outer, middle or inner ear, ear infections, wax build-up, and perforation to the eardrum.
